The retentiveness card is not recognized by the camera .

Refer to beneath if you encounter the these symptoms:

Fault: REINSERT THE Retentivity Carte du jour is displayed on the LCD screen.
Error: NO Retentiveness CARD is displayed on the LCD screen.
Mistake: MEMORY Bill of fare Error is displayed on the LCD screen.
Error: C:thirteen:xx ERROR is displayed on the LCD screen.

  • Check that the blazon and capacity of the memory card are supported by the camera.
    If a retentivity carte not supported by the camera is inserted, an error message may be displayed.

    Note: Refer to the Operating Guide for details on the types of supported memory cards.

  • Check that the memory card is not inserted in the incorrect direction, or at a slant.
    The direction to insert the retentiveness bill of fare varies according to the type of memory card. If it is inserted in the wrong direction or at a slant, the camcorder cannot recognize it correctly.
    Insert it squarely in the right management until information technology clicks. Push the center portion of the visible edge of the retention card to insert it squarely.

    Alarm: There is a risk of software corruption. If the memory card is inserted at a slant, information technology may non exist possible to remove information technology.

[A] If yous use a microSD retentivity card, insert it with the printed side facing up until it clicks.
[B] If you are using a Retentiveness Stick Micro media, insert information technology with the terminal side facing up until it clicks.

  • Check that the terminal of the retention carte du jour is non dirty.

  • Check the Lock tab of the retentivity card.
    This trouble may be rarely caused by the Lock tab of the memory bill of fare. Accept the retention card out of the photographic camera and temporarily motion the Lock tab to the Lock position. Subsequently, move information technology back to the unlock position.

  • Check if at that place is anything wrong with the retention carte.

Warning: There is a risk of data loss. Formatting will permanently delete the data from the media and cannot be retrieved.

When more than 1 memory bill of fare is not recognized:
If the issue is still unresolved, the production may need to be repaired.

      Mistake: MEDIA or a line of dashes (----), RCVER are displayed on the LCD screen.
    • REINSERT MEMORY CARD: If using a Micro SD card with an SD card adaptor, make certain that the Micro SD carte du jour is inserted correctly.
