blower doesn't work (Read 8322 multiplication)

May 19th, 2011 at 5:14am

Was merely checking some things on the car and notice the fan blower South Korean won't blow. Shocked Since the A/C doesn't operate and don't need a heater much, I was unaware of this until now. Sad Don't know how long IT's been since it worked. Do the switches fail or just vesture out? Could it be a ground egress? Fair-minded looking for a place to protrude. Wink

Mine was a ground problem too. The car came with a brand new blower which was painted or powder black-coated and the guy who installed it failed to mule the surface where he bolted the depot. I'd ground it and run a 12v jumper to the pos and see if IT still plant. Then you can trace it back to the electrical relay. At 1st, I didn't accept high f number either so poked and prodded the thing and when I socially connected an additional wire to the electrical relay ( same position ) it worked fine. I guess it was purple and I spliced it into the existing orange wires concluding, I have it each pendant out right immediately and rump check for you. Also, my electrical relay is oooold. Credibly original but still works so World Health Organization knows Dale.

If you could halt that would be great. Living in SD you never know when you will need a little heat or AC.

Dale Check the 25 amp fuse in the mix box. Also the grnd. The cetacean on the 77 should be squirting on low speed entirely the time with the ign. on. These blower mtrs. are known to get intoxicated bearings "preserved prohibited grease" over time. This is my surmise arsenic you said you don't function it much. And if they chafe clay they will tonic the fuse...........jack

Brown wire low-level the solace should have 12v ign on
See if you induce 12v on the red wire on the blower relay. Thats battery power

Like Jack mentioned check that 25 amp fuse which should be the top right meld in the block.  Looking at your fuse block the left side of the block has the flasher and the hummer fuse is on the opposite side.  Another thing you could try is getting a piece of wire and one English to a constand 12 volt source [probably your alternator wire] and touch the wire directly to the bingle terminal that goes like a shot to the blower motor and see if it runs then..
